OUR HISTORY

The Palgrave Parish Council acquired the playing field land in 1960. During the 1970's it was decided that a Community Centre would benefit the community of Palgrave and in 1974, the Palgrave and District Community Council was registered with the Charity Commission.

There then followed years of preparation, lobbying and fund raising, by many community members.

Their efforts were rewarded with the building of a purpose built centre, which was officially opened in April 1986
